Ezekiel 33 recognize the huge array of talented young men and women in our communities. The “Watchmen Fashion Awards” is a platform for those emerging new talents to put their creative flair to the “Watchmen Catwalk!
Each year, the search is on for the most promising new fashion designer. Ezekiel 33 Trust proudly launched the “Watchmen Fashion Awards in 2006”
For those of you who consider yourself a fashion designer then we urge you to put your best creation or creations forward! We encourage you to develop your own style and self-expression!
Judging Criteria:
Each entry will be judged on:
- Appropriateness of design and fabrics
- Presentation
- Cut & Finish
- Originality, Creativeness, Innovation
Entry Criteria
Up to 3 garment entries per person!
- Maori Fashion Theme
- Use of natural fibres and materials
- The collection can include womenswear and menswear
- Teen Age: 13yrs to 21yrs
- Entrants must be the originator of the submitted entry!
Prizes:
1st prize: Maori Toanga, Maori Bouquet, $300
2nd prize: Trophy, Maori Bouquet, $150
3rd prize: Trophy, Maori Bouquet, $50
All entrants receive: Certificate and Bouquets
Entry:
All entry forms must be received by 1st November
Garments must be received by: 15th November
All designers to provide their own models and descriptive commentary for garments entered.
All Entrants must be at rehearsals which are scheduled a week prior to the event:
